We started making this wine in 2020 as our Californian take on Lambrusco: an unfussy, juicy style of sparkling wine that tastes good with just about any type of food or occasion. The Cienega Valley, Carmel Valley, and Sierra Foothills swirl together in a distinctly Californian vision of sparkling red wine. The wine defies logical categorization, and we’re all the happier for it. All we know is it tastes good in just about every situation.
Perched in the coastal hills of Santa Cruz, the Trout Gulch Vineyard offers an ideal setting for Chardonnay destined for sparkling wine.

The Yount Mill Vineyard, first planted in 1903, is firmly rooted in the rich agricultural history of Napa Valley. Today, this organically farmed site offers a rare home for Pinot Meunier—an unconventional choice in Napa, yet one that thrives in this cooler microclimate.
This is one of the more experimental offerings we’ve made to date. This sparkling rose is composed of 60% Syrah from the Alfaro Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA and 40% Viognier from the Rodnick Vineyard in the Chalone AVA.
Merlot is an unsung hero when it comes to rose. We've always loved the refreshing citrus and stone fruit flavors it showcases, and we picked the grapes a bit on the leaner side to make sure it was light and fresh.
