Berkeley Bloom
VINEYARDS: Siletto Vineyard (San Benito), Fox Creek Vineyard (Carmel Valley)
50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir
WINEMAKING: The grapes were harvested at 20 brix, settled overnight and fermented in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak barrels. The Fox Creek Pinot was direct pressed as a Blanc de Noirs and a small amount of red pinot noir was added for color. The wine was then aged in bottle for an additional 15 months before disgorging by hand. 12.5% Alc./Vol. 6 g/l residual sugar.

WHY WE LIKE IT: 50% of revenue from this wine goes to &Mother, a non-profit dedicated to breaking barriers that limit a woman’s choice to pursue and thrive in both career and motherhood. The foundation is run by our dear friend Alysia Montaño, and we're so excited to be working to help raise money for such a great cause. The beautiful label art was created by Jessica Hische.
