VINEYARDS: 50% Gamay from the Witters Vineyard - organically farmed in El Dorado, 50% Pinot Noir from Spring Hill - sustainably farmed in Petaluma Gap.

WINEMAKING: The Witters Gamay and Spring Hill Pinot were picked at 19 brix and direct pressed. Both were aged in neutral French oak before being racked to stainless and blended. Tirage: 12 months. Brut Nature. Disgorged by hand. We produced 7 barrels. 12.4% Alc./Vol.

TASTING NOTES: Blood Orange Peel, Cantaloupe, Pomegranate, Shortbread

WHY WE LIKE IT: Stranger than Paradise is a film directed by Jim Jarmusch. His style of filmmaking is something we try to emulate in our approach to winemaking. You don't always know where the film is going, but each step of the way there is comfort and familiarity.
